You've Built Something to Be Proud Of.
If you're here, you've spent years building something that matters.
Maybe you're thinking about retirement. Maybe you're simply ready for what comes next. Or maybe you're not ready to sell at all—you just want to understand your options.
I'm not private equity. I'm not a broker. I'm not building a portfolio of companies.
I'm looking for one great business to buy and run myself.
– Katherine D. Olaksen

For more than fifteen years, I've led healthcare organizations through dramatic growth, operational improvement, and meaningful change. I've worked closely with physicians, nurses, researchers, and care teams. I love that in healthcare, better operations aren't just about efficiency. They can mean better care, less friction for patients and clinicians, and even better outcomes.
Professionally, I've led operations, strategy, quality, and innovation at organizations like DaVita and the Texas Medical Center, founded and sold my own company, earned an MBA from Cornell, and built a career around using innovation to solve complex operational challenges.
Personally, I'm a mom. I spend time in waiting rooms. I know what it feels like to trust a physician with your child, to let a home healthcare team into your private space, or to trust a laboratory to get it right every time. I understand what's at stake. Behind the day-to-day, there are real people counting on you to get it right.
That's why I'm searching for a business to acquire—not simply because I believe that I have the right skills to run one, but because I want to spend the next chapter of my career doing something that matters: delivering exceptional care to the people who depend on it.

If that sounds like the kind of person you'd want continuing what you’ve built, let’s talk!
What You Can Expect From Me
I’m looking for a company I can devote myself to for the long term—not to flip or fold into a portfolio. I have a strong financial foundation, an exceptional credit score, and have financing lined-up through a community bank if needed.
Parts of your business must already be running remarkably well. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't be reaching out. If I believe I can build on what you've created, I'll tell you that. If I don't see ways to add value, I'll tell you that too.
If we ever meet, I won't pressure you to sell.
I'll ask about the business you've built.
What would you never want changed?
What do you wish you could change?
What keeps you awake at night?
What needs to be preserved first?
What are you most proud of?
